Around 100 clients and media partners attend a series of media training sessions and presentations about the Estonian media industry
Fresh off the back of its successful local advertising campaign, MediaCom Estonia recently held a special 'client day' for its current clients and media partners Held in fashion house Baltika in the heart of Tallinn, the event saw around 100 guests attend a series of media training sessions and presentations focussed on the Estonian media industry, wider global issues and innovations such as the iPhone and smartphones. The agency's research and interaction teams also shared the results of a new survey - compiled especially for the event - that looked at internet usage in Estonia, an area that has not previously been properly monitored. Guest speakers included Gavin Duke, Managing Partner, MediaCom International, who addressed current global trends and predicted how the industry would change in the next few years. To coincide with the event, the agency also celebrated the opening of its new office in Tallinn. The new building, built two years ago, boasts an excellent technical infrastructure and spacious working and presentation areas Speaking afterwards, Janeck Uibo, Managing Director of Trendmark OÜ (MediaCom Estonia), said: "I´m very satisfied with the whole day. During the presentations, I think we shared some really interesting insights into mediatrends on both a local and global level, and demonstrated how we can help add value to our clients' campaigns. Afterwards, we enjoyed a relaxing after party in our new offices, where we hopefully showed that we can be nice people as well! "We were delighted to receive so much positive feedback from our clients and media partners and are looking forward to developing our relationships with them in the future. The whole event generated really positive feelings around the company and encouraged people who are normally neutral or modest to open up and share ideas. It was a great experience!" Similar events across the MediaCom network are set to be scheduled in due course.
