
Paul Greenhalgh has joined MediaCom as Global Commercial
Director, while Christian Schmalzl has been promoted to Chief
Operations & Investment Director of MediaCom Worldwide.
Paul joins from Aegis Media where he most recently held the
position of COO Latin America and before that EVP, Director of
Corporate Development & Strategy, North America. His primary
focus will be on the commercial aspects of MediaCom's business
including overseeing all client contract negotiations and
compliance and improving the commercial success of MediaCom's many
products and services globally.
Paul will also be working with local markets to analyse and
develop strategies and implement business plans and to ensure
effective communication across the group of global commercial best
practice. He will report into Simon Tray, Chief Financial
Officer.
Christian was previously CEO MediaCom Germany. In his new role
his remit will see him working closely with local management teams
to agree the very best products and services that MediaCom has to
offer locally and to continue the roll out of these products
worldwide.
His role will also include developing and implementing best in
class trading models and tools. Additionally he will be responsible
for optimising the network's processes and procedures including
those related to Business Development.
He will report into Stephen Allan, Worldwide Chairman and CEO
and Harvey Goldhersz, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer,
MediaCom Worldwide.
Christian's current role will be taken over by Paul Remitz, who
is currently Managing Director of Mediacom Germany.
